Melbourne, Australia’s superlative Rock ‘n’ Rollers ‘Palace Of The King’ create some terrific bluesy swagger and riff-heavy psychedelia wherever the venture. Now they are heading to Europe with their brand of exciting party-rock. [dates below]
In celebration, the band have released ‘No Chance In Hell’ — taken from the new album titled ‘White Bird/Burn the Sky.’
We had a listen:
This reverberates with semi-psychotic force before a winning riff arrives. And then it is a pot of funjelly funk.
The tiger bite vocal from Tim is fierce and manly. Claws and teeth protrude from every nuance.
The “No chance …” Chorus is accompanied by deep and moody riffs.
Then there is the speckled hippy-dippy break-down…
And that’s when the sabertooth guitar wrestles free to do its stuff.
Quality rock with exciting percussion, feverish guitars and conspicuously fuelled vocals…
It reminds us, very much, of early Bad Company.
