Formed in New York City, with a surprisingly young yet adept line-up [barely twenty, since you ask] rockers TEMPT have set out their stall in splendid fashion to deliver the goods with their full-length debut album ‘Runaway’ (released this week on Rock Candy Records.)

TEMPT take powerful contemporary rock as their reference point and foundation, yet keep one foot confidently in the 1980s, drawing on that era’s feelgood classic rock.
This combination of new and old gives Tempt a sound & swagger that combines the cut and thrust of modern rock (like Rival Sons or Foofighters) with the dazzling pride and the sequined mania of vintage arena rock (think Def Leppard.)
We had a listen:
“Runaway” is fresh and exciting. Like groovin’ down Hollywood Boulevard in 1984 with a crazy street angel steering your frantic journey.
Wonderful vocals, exciting rhythms and creative guitar riffs provide vitality and glamour to thrillingly sleek songs.
If you missed out on being party to the 1980s glam metal scene … now is the time to become deflowered!
