AU/RA — Concrete Jungle

Ibiza-born, Antigua-raised singer AU/RA  has shared her fastidiously created lyric video for her hugely popular debut single ‘Concrete Jungle‘.

Concrete Jungle‘ takes aspiration from the apposition between her comparatively detached upbringing and that of someone brought up in a large town or city.

As Au/Ra explains: “It was inspired by taking trips to big cities when I come from an island… It’s about human nature, how we’re all connected...”

The new lyric video for ‘Concrete Jungle’ – directed and created by artist Sam Farrar – was hand drawn over a map of Manhattan — and is a work of art in its own right — it partners with the creative lyrical theme  wondrously.

The rhythms are tender. The vocal beams out in radiance. Though the sentiment is tough and gritty.
