British vocalist and composer J APPIAH based in London, grew up in Ghana, found inventive musical forms in all that he saw, and was inspired to write by listening to everything from Bob Dylan to Stevie Wonder, and from D’Angelo to James Blake.

He developed his performance skills by providing backing vocals for artists such as Michael Kiwanuka, Kwabs, Jess Glynne and Maverick Sabre, to name a few.
Now he issues “Come Around” feat Kojey Radical
“What I had in mind when creating this was on the subject of people feeling they can’t be their true selves for better or worse. Politically at the moment people are revealing some of their uglier parts...”
We had a listen:
We have here some delicate but robust rhythms that flicker the verse and announce the softly transient and healing voice…
This is as fresh, simple and relaxed as the air that gives life on a chill morning.
This song is a translation of hope restored and faith rendered in a soulful & expressive form.
