The band, now comprising of Steve Rothery [guitars] Mark Kelly [keyboards] Pete Trewavas [bass] Ian Mosley [drums] and Steve Hogarth [lead vocals, lyrics, plus additional instrumentation] won the “UK Band of the Year” at the 2017 Progressive Music Awards following the Albert Hall show and their 2016 F.E.A.R album
On October 13, 2017 Marillion played at the Royal Albert Hall for the first time in their long career. The show sold out in minutes, a full year before the band took the stage at the iconic hall in London. The audience, many of whom had traveled over oceans for the show, were treated to a Marillion show like no other.
In two parts, ‘All One Tonight’ firstly showcased ‘F E A R’ in its entirety. Assisted by a compelling light show and a movie, Marillion interpreted the penetrating sounds of the recording with incomparable emotion and cognition.
The second half introduces “In Praise of Folly” and guests, inclduing a string quartet with flute and trumpet, who interposed the wisdom and feeling of some of Marillion’s most beloved live material.
Directed and edited by Tim Sidwell, recorded and mixed by Michael Hunter, ‘All One Tonight’ is a Racket Records and Toward Infinity productions.
