DAN REED NETWORK will be showcasing new material from the upcoming album whilst revisiting hits and reworking DRN classics in what promises to be a ripping jamboree of a tour: “Origins.”
Originally from Portland, Oregon, Dan Reed Network filled the clubs from late 1984 through 1986 with their contagious mix of hard rock, funk and soul. After releasing the EP “Breathless” and having a top 10 hit Dan Reed’s network signed with Polygram / Mercury Records.

Dan Reed worked with Nile Rodgers for the second album titled “Slam” and toured Europe in the winter of 1989 with Bon Jovi. The success on this tour led DNR to be chosen to support the Rolling Stones on their Steel Wheels Tour
Their third album “The Heat” (1991) was their biggest success in the UK, mainly because of the single “Lover.” In 2016 the band released: “Fight Another Day” that we described as “Soul-calming material, meticulously executed…”
Dan’s show’s are celebrations of boogie pilgrim, anti-hate, pop-rock, with soul-disco flavors and funkalicious voices that make you believe the world is still full of love.
Talking about the November UK tour, Dan says: “We wanted to explore the opportunity to make our own decisions and taking ownership of our material, our trajectory and ultimately our love of creating music and entertaining those who support it […] The November UK tour will be an embodiment of that.”

The “Origins” project is a direct result of Dan Reed Network recording eight songs on three continents in front of fans over six months.
“Our live studio recording days have been a highlight moment in our career,” explains Reed. “Being able to showcase these new songs in a live environment will be a fantastic opportunity to thank and celebrate with those who made them a reality.”
The tour will be DRN’s first UK jaunt since gaining rave reviews when they supported Extreme on their critically acclaimed December 2017 UK tour.
Dan Says: “The love we were shown on that tour, by not just Extreme and their management, but by those who were queuing outside the venue before the concerts, and the reception they gave us during our set, was a fantastic reminder of what we can accomplish.”
Joining Dan Reed Network on their November tour, they are two of the best British rock bands, the melodic heavy rock outfit MASON HILL and Glasgow’s Hollowstar.
“There’s a whole new wave of energetic rock bands in the UK who are ready to explode,” reflects Reed. “DRN are thoroughly looking forward to sharing the stage with these talented young bands and hopefully we can help be a small part of their rise to the top…”
