SEETHING AKIRA — a 5 piece electronic rock [hardcore dubstep] band from Portsmouth, on the English South Coast — combine rock riffs, rap and harmonic vocals to create truly unique sounds.
They’ve now released their debut album “Sleepy Skeletor” before summer tour dates. [Dates below video]

We had a listen —
“I Am The Devil” has already been released as a video. [see below] It is an impeccable, accelerated, and double-quick knockabout… based on the notion that heavy metal music will decay young minds. With anti-skid guitars, beastie voices and sweeping rhythms: this is a nutritious kickshaw.
“Backlash” featuring the talented Olly Simmons [Qemists] has a premonitory beginning, with dark rumblings and gloomy gutters. The guitars climb like deadly ivy … dragging their tendrils onto gravestone slabs of rhythm. Wonderful.
“Even Angels Break Hearts” with the sweet purity of vocalist Dani Uziel is a tinkling & spiritual hymn — interpreted with a sense of urgency — as if the band are called-on to protect vulnerable souls. Thus, this is sweet in the streets, heart in the hands and totally buzzing. An incarnation of all the best genius there’s been in rap/rock.
