MOCKINGBIRD HILL is an exciting recording project led by the award-winning UK songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Andy Littlewood.
Joining the artist on the project is an impressive roster of collaborators, including Giovanni Bruno (guitars), Vic Martin (keys), Pete Feenstra (lyricist), Andrius Linsdell (guitars), Dave Hunt (blues harp), and Peter Nelson (drums).
Littlewood’s writing credits span a diverse range of artists—from Maxi Priest and Kathy Sledge to Darren Styles, Starship, and Eva Carboni. His work also extends to screen compositions for film and television, including NCIS: New Orleans, Riverdale, and the feature film Southern Fury.
Together, the ensemble delivers a multifaceted blend of blues, rock, and jazz. Their new album, Melting Pot, is available now via mockingbirdhillmusic.co.uk.
The title track is a mosquito-biting, swampland boogie-blues flicker that comes packed with chirping rhythms, wandering fiddle textures, cleverly articulated guitars, and a vocal as dry as sandstone.
