When we last wrote about London/Scottish electro-soul act COCOA FUTURES we thought their merry voices & sprightly beats were cheerful, dear sweetness… In particular, we thought the voice of frontman vocalist / bassist Greg Sanderson was light & fresh.

Now Greg’s released ‘Circus’ — a song about patience and produced by Brendan Williams. “Patience seems pretty boring, but it’s secretly banging. You know when you really want something but can wait for it? Trying to get better at that is what ‘Circus’ is about…” he says.
It’s got sensitivity in the mist, and it’s diaphanously soft with a chiffony harmonic. And it seems to go through emotional changes as the song progresses…
This is deluxe and delectable. Memorably smooth.
