KING KING have announced that American Blues Rock vocalist SARI SCHORR will be their special guest on the January/February 2019 UK Tour [check dates below]
The 10-date tour includes: Nottingham Rock City (January 31), London Koko (February 7) and Glasgow O2 Academy (February 17). Tickets are available via www.kingking.co.uk/tour
SARI SCHORR is one of the best contemporary blues-rock singers in the world. We described her 2016 debut album titled: “A Force of Nature” as ”controlled burning and ever-accumulating passion…” and her more recent album Never Say Never as “aromatic, smoky and steely-tough …” and her live show as: “highly polished and filled with excitement.”
Having played over 20 festivals during the summer of 2018, KING KING just completed the UK leg of their special guest slot on Europe’s Tour The Earth European 2018 tour and are currently touring the mainland leg of the tour.
King King, famous for the familiar crushed-rock voice of Alan Nimmo, who — along with his super-talented compañeros and their mottled rhythms, clinking keys and brilliant guitar-work — create boogie-woogie rhythms & electric blues, won themselves three prestigious awards at the UK Blues Awards including Blues Band of the Year, Blues Songwriter of the Year (Alan Nimmo) and Blues Album of the Year (Exile & Grace).
King King raised-the-bar with the release of their fourth studio album “Exile & Grace” [October 2017, released via Manhaton Records] which we described as: “thrusting exhortation…”
