Reading UK band CROOKED SHAPES are releasing their debut single and video “Wicked Ways” this weekend.

Crooked Shapes are a dandy blues rock trio consisting of George Twydell (Vocals & Guitar), George Ives (Vocals & Bass) and Craig Carlaw (Drums). They aim to release their “Fallout” EP on May 10th.
Drummer Craig says: “The Fallout EP won’t just be a release of 5 tracks from another “new young band on the block.” It’ll be a celebration of five songs that have summed up our story as a band up to this point… These songs collectively give our fans a piece of our heart and serve as a benchmark for what’s to come.”
“Wicked Ways” has the compelling driving force you’d naturally associate with the early British blues-rock pioneers of the 60s and 70s; bands such as Black Cat Bones, Leaf Hound and Free. The vocals are roast-bean croaky, yet strapping & strong, the guitar sparkles like diamonds in rock-water, and the rhythms are crunchy, crisp wrappers. This is an irresistible composition.
