The award-winning British ragga metal act SKINDRED have released a new lyric video for fan-favorite track ‘Loud and Clear’ [shared below.] It’s taken from their UK Top 40 hit album ‘Big Tings’ released last year on Napalm Records.

The video release comes ahead of the band’s forthcoming tour, supporting US Rock legends Disturbed, and will act as a precursor for thrilling times…
The Newport band was formed in 1993 and fuse elements of reggae, heavy metal and punk to create a unique brand of energetic rock that is best described as ragga metal. More recently the band have incorporated elements of jungle, hip hop, drum & bass and dubstep into their sounds.
“We are currently gearing up for a very heavy year of extensive touring and are also hoping to work on writing new material in the gaps,” says Skindred drummer Arya Goggin, “The track ‘Loud and Clear’ from ‘Big Tings’ was a very popular choice with our fans, so we have decided to put it out to coincide with our tour with Disturbed.”
“We hit the road with Disturbed in April, with shows throughout Europe and the UK, then we are literally straight into festival season; finally to round off the year we are taking the ‘That’s My Jam’ Tour to Europe (with Blood Command as our special guest), which finishes in late December. So, in short, it’s going to be a rollercoaster of a year!”
‘Loud and Clear’ gets the coarse-grained, moony & vivid, concrete-bunker video-treatment, with supercharged lyrics layered out over zoned-out clips of a nozzling street-artist. These images are integrated within the customary rolling footage of a band at play. It makes a true connection with the unstoppable energy and vital forces of the band…
Skindred’s tour as Disturbed’s special guest runs from 18th April to 15th May and covers the nations of Europe, reaching UK shores on 11th May, playing dates at London, Glasgow and Manchester. Many dates are already sold out.
Skindred’s headline ‘That’s My Jam’ European tour (with special guests Blood Command) also covers many nations and runs from 29th November to 19th December. Full details on Skindred’s website.
