Ice cool piano strokes pitch & stumble like loose ice pinnacles on a spin-drifting winter tide.
The luminous voice is glossy, hazel-butter bright, but offered with a poignant lemon-juice heart. It’s a melancholy look at nebulous yearning but without heartbreak or any self-regard.
This is impeccable in its developing beauty.
