The Bristol-based, South West England, singer-songwriter LOUIS RUBEN will release his “Simply Energy” debut EP on 6th March.
He says he was inspired to write the songs by tapping into his personal experiences with meditation and spirituality, with a notion that, on our most basic level, we are all made of the same simple energy…
The title-track is a softly-strummed number with a tilting beat and fluttering hooks of string.
The melody is calm yet refreshing and the voice is like cherry wine sauce with sweet-crêpe cream. Pleasing.
The E.P. is due for release on 6th March 2020 and will be launched with a show on Thursday 5th March at The Blue Lagoon, Bristol with support from Vapor
