The Ramsgate, Kent, UK power-posse COLLATERAL fired-up their fusion reactor of exponential energy till the spectrometer hit supermassive last night at the magnificent Gibson Brands showroom in London, for their official meet-and-greet launch party blastoff of the UK tour (that starts tonight at Robin 2, Bilston) in support of the amazing Wisconsin-born, Los Angeles-based, leonine-haired, blues-rock shimmerman JARED JAMES NICHOLS.
100 lucky Planet Rock listeners won an unforgettable opportunity to celebrate the tour launch in style at this über-chic one-of-a-kind party… and rubbed-shoulders with musicians and industry professionals…
We’ve already described COLLATERAL‘S freshly released album as “the first truly gumptious album of 2020...”
And at the party in London the Collateral lads played their spritzy “MR. BIG SHOT” with the glitzy “MERRY GO ROUND” and the ritzy “MIDNIGHT QUEEN”.
During the event, Angelo Tristan (Collateral lead vocalist) announced to Planet Rock fans that the band’s debut (eponymous) album has now charted.
And, of course, Jared’s performance was filled with the unmistakable, unbridled expressionism and vivid electrochemistry he’s famed across the world for. Wow! Last night’s event correlates with Jared James Nichols new single “Threw Them To The Wolves” (part of his Gibson showcase set) which is released this Friday.
The show concluded with a remarkable rendition of Sharp Dressed Man with Jared James Nichols on guitar and Collateral’s Angelo Tristan on lead vocals…
