Lisbon, Portugal blues-rock / vintage rock band THE BATELEURS have released a dynamic new single, titled “Rise Above The Storm” taken from their forthcoming album, “The Sun On The Tenth House.”
The Bateleurs are Sandrine Orsini on vocals, Marco Reis on guitars, Ricardo Dikk on bass and Rui Reis on drums with (special guest) Alexandre Manaia playing Hammond Organ (on “Rise Above the Storm”.)
The song is a jangling, hypnotically hooky accomplishment with anxious and jittery guitars, humongous rhythms and an electrifying lead vocal. Yep, this is as hot ‘n’ spicy as paprika, but as fresh-cut and energizing as noonday tobacco drying the Havana sun. Invigorating!
