Abruptly outstripping the slacker bands on the block, blues/classic-rock collective KIRA MAC are an unashamed crew of rollicking rock ‘n’ roll adventurers who congregate around the flaming hair and fearless authority of the Drea de Matteo lookalike neutron-bomb vocalist Kira Mac, an established songwriter and musician, who formed the band along with guitarist Joe Worrall.
Their exciting original numbers are given blood-sustenance with Alex Novakovic (guitar), Bret Barnes (bass) and Cal Casey (drums).

The band have announced their first tour dates and news of a full studio album, titled ‘Chaos is Calling’ due for release in Autumn 2022.
About the forthcoming album, Kira says, “It’s been in the making from 2015 when Joe and I met. It’s been a really long time coming (and we’ve had such an incredible time writing and making it on its little journey) that we hope everyone loves listening as much as we loved making it!”
“ I think this album has a song for everyone, whether you like rock or blues music or not — and above everything else, it’s us, and it’s honest.”
“The band are delighted to embark on their very first tour,” Kira Mac says, “We’ve been waiting for the right time to finally travel to some amazing places to showcase our little songs we wrote in our bedrooms, and it’s unreal to think that were going to get to play and meet all the amazing people who support our music. We’ll be bringing a rock n roll party!”
The first single from Chaos is Calling, titled “One Way Ticket” (video shared below) has a moody resonated riff, a dependable thump, and enough rock ‘n’ roll fizz-fuzz to fill your fount with everlasting sherbet till kingdom come! Kira’s voice is a cocktail of fireball & excitement, hot as dragon sweat and twice as intoxicating!
If you like ravenous hellcats, you’re sure to love KIRA MAC.
