JOE BONAMASSA, the three-time GRAMMY® award-nominated guitar phenomenon, and Sixthman, the industry pioneer in festivals and music cruises for more than a decade, have announced the addition of twelve more performers for Keeping the Blues Alive At Sea Mediterranean III, the third iteration of Bonamassa’s renowned floating blues-rock sea-party.
Aboard the opulent Norwegian Jade, Keeping the Blues Alive At Sea Mediterranean III cruises August 17-22, 2023 from Athens, Greece to Dubrovnik, Croatia and Santorini, Greece.
Blackberry Smoke, Christone ‘Kingfish’ Ingram, Jimmy Vivino, Kirk Fletcher, as well as the twelve artists who were recently announced to this year’s Mediterranean cruise lineup, including (but not limited to) Ruthie Fletcher, King King, Vanessa Collier, and Henrik Freischlader, will all perform during this five-night music extravaganza. Bonamassa will, of course, also play two exclusive sets.
In addition to the nonstop music, visitors will delight in a variety of unusual activities and exclusive programmes catered to delight the most ardent blues fans. Among the special experiences offered to passengers onboard are wine tastings, VIP giveaways, and chances to interact with the internationally renowned musicians.
The luxurious cruise ship will stop at breathtaking ports in two of the most beautiful cities in the world, including Santorini, Greece, which is renowned for its iconic whitewashed architecture, steep cliffs, and breathtaking sea views, and Dubrovnik, Croatia, a mediaeval city decorated with cobblestone lanes that lead to world-class restaurants serving delectable cuisine.
Purchases of shore excursions can be made up until four to six weeks before sailing.
With fully stocked bars almost everywhere, delectable dining options, the Pool Deck (complete with multiple hot tubs), the Jade Club Casino, Mandara Spa, Body Waves Fitness Center, Sports Court, and much more, the magnificent Norwegian Jade will offer everything necessary to make Keeping the Blues Alive At Sea Mediterranean III the most extraordinary cruise vacation tat has ever been offered!
The Keeping the Blues Alive Foundation (KTBA), which is committed to giving students and teachers the materials and tools need to further music education, will once again profit from Keeping the Blues Alive At Sea Mediterranean III. The non-profit organisation was founded by Bonamassa in 2011.
