Following their special guest slot on Samantha Fish and Jesse Dayton’s “Death Wish Blues” October 2023 UK Tour, the iconic roots-n-rock group THE COMMONERS have added a one-off headline show at The Bourne Music Club on Wednesday 1st November.
The Commoners will perform tracks from their current album Find A Better Way which includes the singles Fill My Cup, Find A Better Way, Too Much, and More Than Mistakes.

We were lucky enough to see the band perform in the excellent Komedia, Brighton, on their double-headed UK tour this year (with Troy Redfern) and thought their countrified rock, delivered via homespun outdoorsy blues, with a rough-grained school-yardy vibe, was filled with smoke and tension. We also thought their compositions glimmered with hope and diamonds. We described their live show as ‘breathtaking.’
Offering their own special blend of rock ‘and ‘n’ roll, southern blues, and roots, the Toronto-based four-piece are known for their super-high-energy riffs, brilliantly well-paced rhythms, uplifting harmonies, impaling guitars, and the overall competent articulateness of their sound.
