SAMANTHA FISH —the unstoppable genius slider and zeitgeisty blues-songbird— unveils a super-dynamic three-song E.P. titled “Crowd Control” (Alternate Version) this fall.
The extended play gives a new interpretation to her electro-energized songs “Faster,” “Crowd Control,” and “Better Be Lonely.”
With characteristic raw energy, Fish brings crystal dimensionality to a trio of her most popular songs. The heart of this release lies in a gallant re-exploration of self—so the E.P. release embodies potentiality, vulnerability, and the artist’s triumph over inner monsters.
“Making albums is one of my favourite things to do; it’s a chance to reinvent myself and my sound,” she says.
“But the stage is where we bring the songs to life. I feel I connect the most with my audience from the stage. There’s something uniquely special about that energy—raw, unpolished, with no big fixes or edits. It’s about what you can do with the moment, and I think capturing that is crucial.“

Take, for instance, her stage performance of Crowd Control (video shared below), where the vocals are like tissue-paper & cartilage, the cymbal ride has a bouncy jog-along rhythm, and her guitar-play is smooth as butter ‘n’ cream.
