FM, the masters of melodic British rock, will embark on their “Brotherhood UK Tour” in September 2025, showcasing their skillful musicianship and refined sound.
Tickets are available from TheGigCartel.com and FMOfficial.com.
Rosalie Cunningham replaces Tygers of Pan Tang at selected dates.
FM will play music from 14 albums, starting with their 1986 debut, Indiscreet, and including Tough It Out, Metropolis, Synchronized, Brotherhood, and many more.
We described their recent single “Whatever It Takes” as a “comforting piece with oodles of sensitive, hearty soulfulness.”
Since their formation by the Overland brothers in the 1980s, FM has become a cornerstone of British rock.
The band still features Steve Overland (vocals), with Merv Goldsworthy (bass), Pete Jupp (drums), Jem Davis (keyboards), and Jim Kirkpatrick (guitar).
“From our meeting in a Notting Hill pub in 1984 to our “one off” comeback gig at Firefest 2007, it’s great to now tour beyond our 40th Anniversary shows,” says FM’s drummer, Pete Jupp. “Who’d have thought we’d reach such a milestone?”
Rosalie Cunningham is a multi-award-winning singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who rose to fame with her bands Purson and Ipso Facto.
Rosalie launched her solo career in 2019, releasing a Mercury Music Prize-nominated debut album that reached the UK independent chart’s Top 10 and garnered rave reviews from Classic Rock, Uncut, Mojo, and Kerrang.
We’ve characterized Rosalie’s smoky voice as having ‘dark shades and mysterious psychedelia’ akin to Sonja Kristina, and her music as rich with ‘incredible textures and swirling colours.’
