The disc, recorded at Brussels’ ICP Studios, includes eleven newly-penned tracks that were mixed & engineered by Jean-Marc Pelatan at Studio des Muses and mastered by Ted Jensen, the multiple Grammy winner (Eagles’ Hotel California, Green Day’s American Idiot, Santana’s Supernatural.)
‘No Need to Try Harder’ — a song about freeing oneself from one’s own limitations— taken from the new album (video shared below) has been issued as a single. It’s hard as flint and spiky as a set of bobcat claws.
The composition is a driving, hot-sun scorched dripstone of raw sounds that delivers a rewarding chorus that’ll uplift your spirits on a bad day, and make contemporary life more bearable. The pub-rock feel of the piece is loaded with tenacity, punch, and genuine resolve. And the slide riff is weathered and remarkably gritty. Yes, it is a buzzing wonder!
