DEF LEPPARD to Release Diamond Star Heroes Live From Sheffield

DEF LEPPARD, Sheffield’s holy-sons of NWOBHM and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame® inductees, remain important rock music superforces, having sold over 110 million albums and earned two U.S. Diamond Awards. Throughout their career, the band have released a collection of iconic, earthshattering and noteworthy albums.

Def Leppard’s Diamond Star Halos, their twelfth studio album, came out in May 2022. The album debuted at #1 on the Apple, Amazon Music and Billboard’s Hard Rock charts, and scored a Top 10 debut on Billboard’s Top 200 Albums chart, marking the band’s eighth Top 10 album of their career. Worldwide, it achieved several Top 10 chart positions, including a Top 5 entry in the UK.

On November 21 2025, Mercury Studios will release Def Leppard’s Diamond Star Heroes Live From Sheffield. The show, recorded in 2023 in their hometown of Sheffield at Bramall Lane during “The World Tour” with Mötley Crüe, will be available on Blu-ray+2CD, 2CD and 2LP.

Pressed on red, white and black splatter, the vinyl nods to the home kit colors of Sheffield United FC, who play their home matches at Bramall Lane. Furthermore, the band’s initial 4K release will be 4K UHD, and it will feature One Night Only Live At The Leadmill, which was released last year.

This concert was a homecoming for Def Leppard, 47 years after they formed, and kicked off their co-headlining European tour with Crüe. Performing their second ever hometown stadium concert to a sold-out crowd of almost 40,000 fans, the Blu-ray+2CD & 2CD and 2LP versions include classics “Photograph” and “Pour Some Sugar on Me” as well as UK live debuts “Take What You Want” and “This Guitar”, the latter dedicated to the band’s late great guitarist Steve Clark.

Def Leppard celebrated the eve of their tour with a special, intimate performance at The Leadmill for about 900 fans. The concert included a variety of songs from every album they made. You can now watch One Night Only Live At the Leadmill in 4K UHD for the first time, as part of the Diamond Star Heroes 4K release.
