We’ve described the PARKER BARROW sound as ‘clambering riffs and thrusting thrills…’
The band, with singer Megan Kane whose voice we’ve described as ‘roiling, velvety, and firelit’ and her husband Dylan Turner (on drums), is named after Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow, the notorious bank robbers of early Great Depression era America.
The band have toured alongside Robert Jon & the Wreck, Them Dirty Roses, and the Kentucky Headhunters an are about to tour the UK with THE DAMN TRUTH (see tour poster below.)
truckloads of rock ‘n’ roll exuberance, with thrilling rhythms and spectacular Plantish vocals…

‘Hold the Mash’ marks the band’s first release since their debut album Jukebox Gypsies (2023) and features the previously released 2025 singles “Make It” and “Novocaine”.
While Parker Barrow’s unique sound stands out as their own, their vintage rock feel incorporates elements of Southern Rock, authentic Blues, and emotional Soul and suggests flavours of Blackberry Smoke, Tedeschi Trucks, and even hints of Led Zeppelin in a heady bouquet of classic and contemporary rock inspirations.
As an example, ‘The Healer’ from the EP is a slide-tastic haybarn skylark with truckloads of rock ‘n’ roll exuberance, thrilling rhythms, and a set of spectacular Plantish vocals. It’s about releasing oneself and breaking free of limitations.
