The California roots-rockers BEAUX GRIS GRIS + THE APOCALYPSE create highly acclaimed yet oddly juxtapositional songs, and their marvelously distinctive live performances have seen them steadily gain recognition in the UK and around Europe.
Gris Gris pairs the artist, entrepreneur, and singer Greta Valenti—who delivers mischief and coquetry in equal measure—with the Cornish musician, record producer, musical director, guitarist, and Blues Hall of Fame inductee Robin Davey, with The Apocalypse, that comprises a set of very highly gifted musicians.

Now, this exciting group offers an exuberant new single, titled “Me-Ye-Ye-Yow!” (released Friday, June 12th, 2026) that delivers an embrangling blues-rock anthem alongside a music video (shared below) that’s as technically bodacious as it is triumphantly geostrophic!
“Me-Ye-Ye-Yow!” is a spellbinding blues-rock anthem set against a backdrop of claw-sharp guitars and scimitar-shaped rhythms. The track is fundamentally about not allowing the B**** grind you down.
Thus, “Me-Ye-Ye-Yow!” is a hyperventilating surge of resilient strength and steadfast durability; and the song boasts the kind of chorus that instantly rekindles an inert spirit, complete with whooping guitars that scream indestructibility. Powerful stuff!
