MILKFEST, the celebrated single-day charity live music event highlighting the best of British blues and homegrown R’n’B, is moving to a brand-new London venue for its next installment: the iconic O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire on April 11, 2027.
Milkfest is the brainchild of acclaimed British blues-rock band The Milk Men, whose signature sound delivers genuinely catchy riffs, jangly melodies, and dynamically toe-tapping rhythms that embody a uniquely English roots-and-pub-rock style.
“We are delighted to put on another stunning line-up of blues-influenced acts spanning seven decades—from sixties legends to contemporary greats,” says Milkfest organizer and Milk Men guitarist Adam Norsworthy. “We’re also thrilled to be moving to a new home at the iconic O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire, a legendary stage that has hosted everyone from David Bowie to The Rolling Stones.“
The initial line-up announcement features festival headliners The Manfreds (formerly Manfred Mann), fronted by singer Paul Jones, who has become a towering figure in British blues and who hosted BBC Radio 2’s Blues Show for over three decades.
Other RAW RAMP favourites on this exciting bill include Elles Bailey, When Rivers Meet, Ben Poole (whose latest album Post-Midnight Behaviour earned a five-star review from us), powerhouse vocalist Kyla Brox, blues-proggers Burning Rope, soul-blues outfit Connolly Hayes. Topped-off, of course, with an high-energy performance by hosts and founders The Milk Men!
Milkfest will be in aid of Children With Cancer UK charity.
