The IRON MAIDENS who we once described as “one of the best tribute acts in the world” will finally arrive in the UK on April 14th when they play their debut London show at
the 02 Islington Academy. Support for the show will be Forever Never.
Los Angeles-based musicians Kirsten Rosenberg (a.k.a. Bruce Chickinson) — Linda McDonald (a.k.a. Nikki McBurrain) — Wanda Ortiz (a.k.a. Steph Harris) — Courtney Cox (a.k.a. Adriana Smith) — and Nikki Stringfield (a.k.a. Davina Murray) cover material from all eras of the famous band’s career, including the biggest Maiden hits, as well as all the fan favourites.
Kirsten Chickinson said: ‘For years people have been asking when we’re coming to the U.K. so it feels almost surreal that it’s finally happening. To play London–the city where Iron Maiden actually began in 1975–is thrilling and also daunting; I expect the “home” fans to be the most discerning but we are definitely up for the challenge! To see where it all began, this is hallowed ground’.
If you miss ’em in London, I suppose you could try to see them on the MONSTERS OF ROCK cruise departing in October!
