When we first heard “Sonnava Faith” taken from the South African singer-songwriter/ guitarist DAN PATLANSKY’S 2016 studio album — Introvertigo — we thought the guitar break ripped through it like a gash in the side of a tent-crusade canvas…
We admired the album — so did The Blues Rock Review who rated it as one of the “Top Ten Blues Rock Albums of 2016.”

For guitar wizardry & sensitivity we think that Dan is the most hypnotic red-notch blues musician we’ve heard in a long time.
When we saw him play the song live last year in London we noted his voice was a mixture of bourbon ‘n’ moonlight — tasty and intoxicating — while the oxidized riffs were fragile, tense and anxious.
Now Dan releases “Sonova Faith ” as a single [see the video below] and has announced a string of live UK dates to celebrate Introvertigo.
He will hit the road with the Lincolnshire-based singer-songwriter Ash Wilson, whose debut album “Broken Machine” we have already described as, “Rusty grind and spangly burnin’ angst...”
Other European dates are also announced [see poster below]
