Tanya Batt enforces a cathartic style on her new single Shame.

The Australian singer who is pushing her new project BATTS to the masses, sounds eager to showcase her emotional side.
The song is like an arm stretching forward for some sort of solace. Love is broken and there’s no powdering over the cracks, and Batt knows this, as she sits unstable and struck by heartache.
The instrumental quality is light, but Batt sings with a great tone to her vocals, sending out message after message to a runaway lover. And the guitar strokes are fundamental to the progression of the track as well as Batts beautiful lyrics, which offer the poet in us a chance to reflect. She sings about starting somewhere new, maybe in outer-space or somewhere she can rest her heavy head.
