Since we first saw him play live, we’ve been convinced that MICHAEL JABLONKA is one of the finest guitarists on the London scene right now…

‘Jabo’ and his talented band of compadres play an inventive confection of smooth ‘n’ stripped down riffs around the Capital’s music joints. Since the age of fourteen, the guitar magician has been in demand and has outsourced his talents to artists such as: Charlie Brown, Stooshe, Shakka and Delta Maid.
He became Brit-soul star Michael Kiwanuka’s touring guitarist — a role that took him around vast arenas and major festivals worldwide.
In 2016, he self released his first E.P. titled “Myriads” and since then he’s developed rapidly as both a composer and solo performer.
His soulful indie-rock performances are often described as “Softly Hendrix …”
His latest release “Papier-mâché” [shared below] is a throbbing wave of convincing rhythms, with a fizzy whorl of guitars that revolve around coherent vowels and with poetic lyrics that speak of pains of conscience.
Papier-mâché — released by Lost In the Manor records, 16th November 2018
