Birmingham (UK) duo Table Scraps consisting of Scott Vincent Abbott (formerly of The Big Bang) and Poppy Twist (Poppy & The Jezebels) have been picking up tons of early buzz with their great new single ‘Electricity’.
The band have also announced the release of their debut album ‘More Time For Strangers’ —June 5th 2015.
We had a listen to the single:
Punky and anxious with a fuzzy fermentation of gluey guitars, this has paper box beats.
The vocal banshees itself out by creating silver combs of sound that glide easily through the warm and dirty reverberations that squirrel along under-side.
This is pure, freak-out fun with decorative, bright-white vocals and thoroughly scurrilous accompaniments.
