Those clever Saskatoon shoegazers Slow Down, Molasses whose haze-filled power-pop rock numbers are so absorbent that they will give you the pink-noise jitters, have now released Home, taken from their upcoming LP Burnt Black Cars.
We had a listen to ‘Home’:
Guitars boil and broth below the surface like a stew of activity whilst a driving drum urges all to move along.
Distant voices are hazy on the horizon, but they can be made out clearly. They are blue and gold. Hale and hearty.
Urgent power-pop voice, beautifully cloudy. With ever increasing rallies of soft guitars and some wonderfully absorbent accompaniments.
