This Friday 4th November 2016 the highly anticipated twelfth original GLENN HUGHES album “Resonate” is released.
“Resonate” will be available in two configurations: standard and deluxe edition CD including a bonus track and DVD. A vinyl version will be made available through partner labels Soulfood Music.

We had a listen:
The remarkable 65 year old vocalist is as loud and clear here as he was in those heady Trapeze days!
The gold-standard the track, “Heavy” has thundering bass-notes that possess unrivalled clarity.
Slabs of keyboards by Australia’s celebrated Lachy Doley aka “The Hendrix of the Organ” help fill the sounds…
Most, of course, know Glenn from the Black Country Communion [Hughes and Bonamassa have laid down new tracks, by the way] — but this number is a demonstration of his own singular musical prowess.
The guitar glugs, churns and squelches and the chorus will get you up on your feet and hollering. The number is explosively seismic.
The vocals on “My Town” are reminiscent of the sounds he made on Black Sabbath’s Seventh Star [1986 ] and with a melody similar to the feel and quality of the title track “Addiction” [1996] .
Guitars by Søren Andersen are acidic and Pontus Engborg’s tribal thwackery is truly excellent.
“Let It Shine” is another pounding rock celebration on this immense L.P.
This album is full of natural power, stamina, and generous feeling. If only younger artists could keep up with ‘the man’ …
