TEQUILA MOCKINGBYRD have announced the new single and video for “Enjoy The Ride” [see below] before a tour of the United Kingdom.
Tequila Mockingbyrd bring sunny rock music of the highest distinction; exuberant, full of catchy riffs, lots of scorching melodies and always guaranteed to bring a smile to a face.
“Enjoy The Ride” is the perfect rock anthem for your summer vacation: filmed in Melbourne at the beginning of the year, it’s a saucy, pirouetting whoosh of summery, punk-lite gladness.
The trio, whose live-show we recently described as “effervescent and determined…” have played numerous festivals and a headline show as well as touring through Spain/Italy earlier this year.
The next few weeks sees them kick off the “Seaside to City Tour” [dates below] before heading out with The Treatment this September.
This is what drummer Josie has to say about the new single: “This is our take on summer….A scoop of sunshine with an extra flake.Yes the flake might melt into a sticky mess, but it still tastes damn sweet. Things aren’t always straight forward but if you believe in what you’re doing and are having a good time that’s what it’s all about! We shot a very fun DIY video for the track in and around St Kilda, our favourite spot in Melbourne where every day feels like a holiday…”
