THE KUT — I Am Vain

Featured as one of Kerrang! Magazine’s Breakthrough Acts of the Year (2017) THE KUT have been doing a great job of winning over rock fans and music media since 2010, with many videos, incredible tours, electrifying singles and simply splendid EPs… all this brought to fruition with a long awaited debut full-length ‘Valley Of Thorns’ — and it’s just charted at No. #7 in the UK Rock Albums Chart. The album was released on front-woman Princess Maha’s own indie label: Criminal Records.

A stomping blinder with tribal drums…

Often dubbed the ‘hardest working woman in rock n roll’ Princess Maha leads The Kut with Diana Bartmann on drums and Stella Vie on bass/vox — their reputation is well-deserved as one of the most rock ‘n’ rollin’ bands on the scene right now.

Now she’s unveiled her latest video for ‘I Am Vain’ from the critically acclaimed debut album, ‘Valley Of Thorns’ released on Criminal / Cargo in 2018. The video sees Princess Maha as pilot of a private jet, rocking out in an aircraft-hanger with her pals.

According to Princess Maha, “I Am Vain wasn’t just about vanity. It was about laughing out loud in the face of criticism.  About taking undue negativity with a pinch of salt.  It’s like when someone says something about you, to try and put you down, but instead of being affected by it, you are just thinking, hmm, and so what?

The number is a stomping blinder with tribal drums, crushing riffs and clamoring vocals that demand urgent attention.
