DIG LAZARUS are an exciting up-and-coming three piece rock band from Nuneaton, in the West Midlands, UK.

We thought their recent single: “Tell Me Why” was a fine & dandy soaking of pop-punk booty.
Now they’ve issued a new track ‘Joker’ that’s a powerful new ode to love lost… It comes from the band’s upcoming EP “Figured It Out” due May 31st.
Ash (vocals, guitar) says: “The song was written about a relationship that no one wants; the story of the relationship breaking down. It’s a subject most people can relate to and has become a fan-favorite in our live set. We are stoked to release it as our next single so now everyone can hear it...”
A stonking beat emphasizes the granulated riff while the braying chorus hums in (fake?) distress… If you can imagine something like “The Slider” meets “Metal Guru” (T.Rex) but with grunge style guitar and punk style angst you’d get halfway to approaching this lyrical poem for the disenchanted.
