TOMMY DOWN has been writing music and recording since he was fourteen and performed across Europe from the age of twenty with a Bristol based Jazz Orchestra. With Harker Moon we noted his songs were filled with honesty and inspiration. . .
During his time in Bristol he accumulated several honors, including “Best Original Composition” at the UK Open Mic Competition. After leaving Bristol he moved back to London, where he completed a soul album with jazz and blues-rock influences, which he performed across the Metropolis with his band PINK YESTERDAY.

He forged eminent collaborations in New York and his collaborators include Jeffrey Silverman (Aloe Blacc), Charlie Perry (who helped produce Jorja Smith’s Lost and Found), and John Shave & Jason Pebworth from the grammy-nominated “Invisible Men” hitmakers behind songs by Britney Spears and Rita Ora.
He has now released his r&b & soul single, titled “Don’t Think I’m Leaving Without You” (produced by Ross O’ Reilly) shared below.
It has a jazzy dancehall vibe to it, with funkadelic & vitalic beats and a grapey, eurhythmy vocal. Yep, this is quite a jig!
