The award-winning West Midlands born British blues-rock singer and hotshot guitar whizz JOANNE SHAW TAYLOR has announced a brand new single “If That Ain’t A Reason” a song produced by Joe Bonamassa and Josh Smith at Ocean Way Studios in Nashville, Tennessee, and taken from her highly anticipated album due later this year.
The single (out today) is released on Joe Bonamassa’s new independent label, Keeping the Blues Alive (KTBA Records).

“It was a Little Milton song [famed for his hit song We’re Gonna Make It] Joe texted it to me when we were in the early stages of discussing songs. I’d never heard it before and loved it. Super funky and great, almost comical lyric at times,” Joanne explains.
It’s a succulent funkadelic number with butterfat chunky horn notes, lubricating backing vox and (of course) an airy guitar blast that vents the midpoint and dissects, like a silver scalpel, that wonderfully glutinous organ. Yes, it is very sticky and very seductive!
