After building anticipation worldwide, the Canterbury, Kent UK pop singer/songwriter MIMI WEBB has now revealed her debut Seven Shades of Heartbreak EP.
The seven-track project propels her super-compelling vocals, articulate songwriting and unmistakable electro-vitality into luminous energy with songs such as “Good Without”, “Dumb Love” and the recent single “24/5”. Prior to this release, these fan and critical favorites had already eclipsed 250 million streams!
We thought “Good Without” overflowed with loyal confidence and was a percolating number of irrepressible energy.
About the EP, Mimi says: “I wanted to put together a body of work that told a story from beginning to end, allowing me to retell experiences I’ve been through.”
“Writing this EP has been incredibly therapeutic for me. These seven songs are really personal and it feels very special to be able to share them with the world as part of Seven Shades of Heartbreak.”
“Heavenly” is a ghostlike reflectance, with broody beats and speculating lyrics. It’s cold as eating gelato in an igloo with a polar bear, but also has a stunning chorale chant that will warm you up!
“Halfway” is filled with buoyant rebounds and enthusiastic chirpiness. While “Little Bit Louder” is an uninterruptible jubilation! Yep, this is an uplifting sing ‘n’ dance along.
Very impressive!
