Montreal’s smokin’ hot revivalist retro-rock flower-powersters THE DAMN TRUTH have announced their signing with Frontiers Music srl and will release the Deluxe Edition of their self-titled album “The Damn Truth” on September 11th 2026.
We’ve previously described the band’s style, with the irrepressible Lee-la Baum as centre-point on vocals as, “a swirl of miniskirt, organdy and charmeuse ruffles, with oxblood drapery…”
To coincide with The Damn Truth’s hot summer 2026 UK Tour that kicks off at The Live Rooms in Chester on Friday August 28th, and the imminent release of their Deluxe Edition self-titled album “The Damn Truth”, the Canadian rockers will perform a FREE 30-minute acoustic session at London’s Gibson Garage on Thursday August 27th from 2pm – 2:30pm.
The Gibson Garage acoustic session is open to the public. Entry is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Fans are advised to show up early on the day, to ensure admission to the rare and intimate acoustic performance. The band will perform songs from the Deluxe Edition of their album.

Originally released in 2025 and produced by Grammy Award-winning producer Bob Rock, the band’s self-titled album The Damn Truth marked a defining moment in the band’s career, blending timeless rock and roll, blues-infused swagger and fearless songwriting.
