The amazing LAW HOLT has unveiled new track Love Drive Through, taken from her debut album City, due for release on 26th August 2016 via Soulpunk.
Law surpasses genres, dimensions and auditory sensation. For her, forlorn desolation, shadowed iniquity and philandering romanticism share equal status — in fact they are often combined by the artist — to create single entities. She explores these sounds with the mind of a sorceress and the cunning versatility of a master-conjurer.
She describes her music as “Law themed.”
We listened to Love Drive Through —
A rattle of drums and a bugle cry heralds the crumble of sounds that decay before us.
The emollient vocal is smeared and reminiscent of recent BEYONCÉ.
The chorus is the fizzer. It burns deep and won’t let go…
