The superstar guitar grandmaster JOE BONAMASSA has released “Tattoo’d Lady (Live),” one of the singles from his upcoming live album and concert film “The Spirit Of Rory Live From Cork”, due June 19th 2026 and out via J&R Adventures.
Recorded during packed concerts in Cork, Ireland, these fresh song offer a fresh perspective on Bonamassa’s intimate homage to Rory Gallagher, captured in the very place that Gallagher’s impact is most profoundly felt.
“The Spirit Of Rory Live From Cork” features fourteen carefully chosen songs, to showcase the breadth of Gallagher’s artistic range, from the intense energy of “Walk On Hot Coals” and “Bullfrog Blues” to the passionate depths of “A Million Miles Away.”
The song “Tattoo’d Lady,” from Gallagher’s 1973 album Tattoo, is a key early composition. The song offers an honest, personal look at life as a touring musician, reflecting the realities of late nights, continuous travel, and the tension between independence and loneliness.
